Garnet blasting materials
Mineral abrasive
Garnet is a mineral abrasive which is irregularly shaped with polished edges. For a mineral abrasive, garnet sand is relatively hard with a high bulk density, which accomplishes a fast cleaning and cutting rate.
Our garnet blasting materials can be reused several times. Some common applications are:
- Waterjet cutting, mainly garnet 80 mesh and garnet 120 mesh
- Removal of old coating layers and rust, mainly garnet 30-60
- Facade cleaning and removal of graffiti
- Car restauration and repair
- Blasting wood
- Sweep blast cleaning (galvanized) work pieces
