Low roughness
Ceramic beads is an iron free blasting media that can achieve a low roughness. Because it is inert and round, it is used for non-aggressive blasting on mainly stainless steel and aluminum. The abrasive can be reused, creates little dust and is often used to aesthetically improve the surface.
