Blasting
Automotive industry
The automotive industry requires the abrasives at various stages in the production process. On average there are 50 parts that need to be blasted during the production of a vehicle:
- Desanding the engine blocks and cylinder heads, crankshafts etc.
- Descaling the forged or stamped parts, such as pistons, steering knuckles , paddles.
- Shot peening of the gears, springs, suspension.
- Repairing damaged cars or restauration

Construction
In the construction industry our metallic abrasives are used to treat the pipes, steel structures, tubes etc. During the production phase our high carbon steel grit is mainly used for etching prior to coating of the steel structures. In a lesser extent desanding and descaling takes place in the industry, requiring metallic abrasives and non-metallic. At a later stage, open blasting activities with expendable abrasives like garnet and aluminium silicate needs to performed for maintenance purposes.
Energy
The large metal structures in the oil and gas industry need to have the right anchor profile for the coating to adhere, the pipelines need to be blasted and the harsh environments ask for regular maintenance. Surface preparation is also import during the production and maintenance of wind turbines. Our hardest high carbon steel grit GH (60-64 HRC) will provide a fast cleaning and etching action and we are happy to assist you to create the right anchor profile.

Shipyard industry
The shipyard industry requires steel abrasives to remove mill scale from steel plates, beams, pipes and to etch the steel prior to the application of the coating. Furthermore when the ship needs to be serviced, a large amount of abrasive are used to remove to old coating and rust.
Railway industry
The train is an important means of transport for both passengers as products. In this industry abrasives are being used in the production and maintenance of the passenger cars, locomotives, rails containers, tanks etc. Our metallic and non-metallic abrasives are being used in various stages and applications in the railway industry.

Heavy equipment
Our abrasives are being used during the production and maintenance of heavy equipment like earth moving equipment, tractors, scrapers, fork lifts, compressors, cranes. In the industry very heavy coatings are used to endure the harsh working conditions and therefore proper surface etching is required. Besides that the heavy foundry parts need to be desanded and at a later stage our products are being used for repair jobs on the equipment.
