Etching
Chilled iron is a hard abrasive making it suitable for etching purposes. During the blasting process chilled iron breaks at an angle, producing a permanent mixture of sharp grit. It is suitable to be used in blast rooms and pressure blast cabinets, to remove rust, old coating layers and create an anchor profile.
