Personal protection for abrasive blasting jobs
With personal protection, the safety, health, and comfort of the blasters comes first. The extensive selection of personal protective equipment makes even the toughest job a lot easier. By working as safely as possible, you ensure the best result under all circumstances.
Protective Clothing
Personal protection starts with wearing the right clothing. That’s why we offer different types of helmets, blasting suits, and cooling vests.
Blast Helmets
All our blast helmets are equipped with advanced breathing technologies that support the blaster during work. Thanks to these technologies, operators experience less fatigue and better focus while performing their tasks.
The materials of the helmet are lightweight to relieve pressure on the neck and shoulders, and to contribute even further to comfort, the helmets can also be adjusted as desired.
Each helmet is equipped with a protective cape and can also be fitted with a convenient tear-off system for the visor. This saves blasters time and keeps their vision sharp during work.
Blasting Suits
Our blasting suits are also specially designed with the comfort of the blaster in mind. The suits are equipped with a leather-reinforced front and Velcro fastenings to securely close any openings.
In addition, the clothing fits perfectly with the supplied gloves. It also fits comfortably under the different types of blast helmets.
Cooling Vests
For extra comfort, the protective clothing can be combined with our cooling vests. Our vests are designed to remain at a constant temperature for hours.
The vests contain cooling elements that cool both the front and back of the upper body. This prevents heat stress, improves productivity, and provides extra comfort for workers performing their tasks in difficult conditions.
Technology for Extra Protection
In addition to protective clothing, it is also important that the blaster can carry out the work without obstructions. For this reason, we recommend taking a look at our advanced technical additions to our protective clothing.
Helmet Air Filtration
To ensure that the blaster can breathe safely and healthily during the job, we offer our helmet air filtration system. This system is suitable for filtering oil mist, water vapor, and microscopic particles from the breathing air.
This air filtration system can serve up to 6 users and filters last up to 3 months based on a 40-hour work week. When the filters need replacing, you can easily order new filter cartridges from us. This way, you can be sure the filters always fit.
Climate Control
It is also important that the worker is always supplied with breathing air at the right temperature. To make this possible, climate control tubes can be added to the equipment.
Our climate control tubes provide cooled air down to 18 °C and heated air up to 17 °C. Both tubes ensure optimal comfort for the worker and maximum productivity.
Gas Detection Monitor
Compressed air can create hazardous environments that may lead to fatal consequences. An intelligent gas detection monitor can detect and trace up to 4 gases. This gives workers the confidence that the air they breathe is safe.
Gases such as carbon monoxide are invisible to the naked eye and highly harmful to workers’ health. That is why we recommend always using a gas detection monitor in combination with our air filtration system.
