Each Airblast blast room features a modular construction using robust sandwich panels, structural steel panels, or a purpose-built room with wear-resistant wall linings. Protected, dust-proof lighting fittings ensure clear visibility during blasting. Access doors are available as double-hinged or heavy-duty overhead doors, with safety switches that automatically shut off the abrasive tank when a door opens.
Full abrasive recovery and dust extraction
Blast room productivity depends on efficient abrasive recovery. Airblast offers a complete range of abrasive recycling systems for abrasive recovery, including sweeping pits, cross conveyors, U-shape and H-shape floor systems, and fully automatic floor recovery with conveyor or scraper systems. Dust extraction is available in down-draft and cross-draft configurations, with automatic grit recycling and magnetic separation as standard options.
